New Here. Looking to Learn from the People Who Keep Freight Moving

Hello everyone,

My name is Jorge, and I’m new to the forum.

For the past several months I’ve been studying the trucking and logistics industry because I believe there are opportunities to improve how different parts of the supply chain coordinate with one another. Before forming strong opinions or trying to build anything, I wanted to learn from the people who live this industry every day.

That’s why I’m here.

I’m not a carrier, broker, or dispatcher. I’m here to listen.

I want to understand what works, what doesn’t, and where the biggest frustrations really are.

I’ve already noticed something interesting. Every part of the industry seems to have a different perspective. Drivers see one set of challenges. Dispatchers see another. Brokers, fleet owners, warehouse personnel, and shippers each have their own view. My goal is to understand all of them before drawing conclusions.

You’ll probably see me asking questions from time to time. They’re genuine questions, not marketing.

I appreciate anyone willing to share their experience, whether you’ve been driving for six months or thirty years.

Thank you for having me here. I look forward to learning from all of you.
